The Rideau-St. Lawrence Real Estate Board’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament has raised more than $35,000 for local food banks in recent years.
The most recent tournament raised $6,485.
It was attended by 80 golfers.
Cheques were presented on behalf of the board’s 170 members to five local area food banks:
- Smiths Falls Community Food Bank
- The Table Community Food Centre (Perth)
- Athens Food Bank
- Food for All Food Bank (Prescott)
- Operation Harvest Sharing (Brockville)
