  2. In 1997 I was one of the first agents to buy a domain and grow a website. It was an amazing experience. I never ran an online ad of any kind and never paid to use SEO. But I had a great access control page that with my tags brought loads of contacts, largely due to my newly added articles regularly. Buyers, sellers and colleagues visited my site constantly causing searchers to find my domain always it seemed forever in the top ten engine sites and often in number one location making it easy for lookers to check out my domain.

    This made me question (unless it’s not allowed) why the author didn’t mention:
    “drive traffic to your real estate website” where explorers have an immediate connection to your listings, as you would have a property dedicated specific story link page with as many pictures as you like (professional photography) and property details.

    By simply dropping in your website contact info it’s quick and easy to do and get more social media work done in an hour.

    Buyers and to-be sellers would check out my site frequently and one day maybe months later (when they were ready to do business they would email or telephone).

  3. Omitting Facebook? The number 1 social media network, guessing this guy got booted from Facebook or something. At least Instagram made it on this list. Twitter is completely useless for real estate, it’s the only social you can have over a 1000 followers and zero engagement for years. It’s only good for celebrities. Houzz, I’ve never heard of it. Zillow is more for Americans, yes it’s here but ask you clients if they use it and you’ll get a big no. LinkedIn yeah if you’re looking for a specific clientele but I never found enough engagement on it. Facebook is number 1 for social media to get engagement and potential clients, it’s platform is the most diverse in things you can post.

  4. I could tell he was American since he put Zillow first (based out of Utah). In BC I’d suggest for online ads instead of Zillow. Facebook keeps adjusting their targeting in response to political and social movements in the States and Canadian advertisers seems to have to play by the same rules, even if they aren’t our rules.
